Career Counselling

   Today I have focused about Career Counselling. As I am a BSC student so I mainly focus on it. I learn about it from various sources then finally I wrote this article. I thought it might be helpful for others also because sharing knowledge is a good thing.

Blueprint for Career Counseling

1. Usually found in BSC the placement or opportunity is very less, that is only 30% but other 70% have no opportunity.
2. The knowledge of BSC is not applicable in other field because these are pure science basically physics subject.
3. Q. Which knowledge does the society need? That is Engineering (B tech) & computer (MCA) knowledge are applied knowledge. These can apply in reality.
4. The students who have good intensity to gain knowledge they can apply the knowledge of BSC in research field but it is very less.
5. Often all problems arise after graduation or MSC(PG).
6. If a BSC student does MSC after graduation then there is no more job address after MSC.
7. After MSC we can say there is two opportunity one is Teaching line which has no clarity and other is Research about special field.
8. And to do MSC the student need to be eager for more knowledge otherwise it will have no value.
9. As I said, only 30% students move forward after BSC, but 70% students do not move forward.
10. So they mainly focus on Govt. exam. But Govt. exam requires more subjective knowledge, because the syllabus has Mathematics, Physics, History, Geography, Politics, Economics all subjects.
11. Also the Govt. exam can be given by all students in the Arts, Science & Commerce, So there is a lot of competition. Therefore we can say here the possibility is only 0.01% and it takes 2-3 years generally to succeed.
12. B.E.D. is a good teaching job but job posting period is too late process so that’s only problem.
13. MCA is also a way after BSC, but this course is mainly done by BCA students, so in this course coding knowledge must needed.
14. Usually science students do not have much coding knowledge. So they don’t choose this course.
15. Then another opportunity for BSC students is MBA. Nowadays we can say MBA is a good course for business. It is the best for career counselling. But this course depends on skill. The students themselves who will build good skills they will be more successful.
16. The main exam for MBA is CAT which provide the opportunity to do MBA in well known colleges of IIM and the certificates are very valuable in this college.
17. The last opportunity for BSC is LLB or the law course. After this course a student can be a self-independent employ to help the people of society directly otherwise work for any company as a Lawyer.
18. The students can become an advocate in private or Govt. when the LLB is over.  Then LLM has a course the master degree of law course. Eventually one can become a judge after experience in a court.
19. GATE need any 4year degree course but BSC is a 3 years course, So BSC students do not eligible for GATE exam. Hence Only engineering (B tech) students eligible for GATE course or BSC student needs to take any other course to qualify for it.

It's not hard to choose.
