Chandragupta, the founder of Maurya Empire. He demolished the Nanda dynasty by defeating the last Nada emperor Dhana Nanda. The word 'Maurya' comes from the name 'Mura' the mother of Chandragupta. Maurya means the son of 'Mura', because this empire can possible by the complete dedication of her life as an mother.
It required thousands of lives, not just the lives of a single mother, but the history was too short to account for those sacrifices.
The reality that surrounded him was his greatest inspiration. He was brave in battlefield, kind for poor people and harsh for the wicked. That was his position that made him so.
